We are excited to announce our next Rising Star seminar featuring Yu Wang, who will present his recent first author publication WSTF nuclear autophagy regulates chronic but not acute inflammation (Nature, 2025).
Dr. Yu Wang is a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research centers on nuclear quality control, particularly nuclear autophagy and chromatin remodeling, in the context of senescence, inflammation, and aging. His recent Nature study revealed a nuclear autophagy mechanism that distinguishes chronic from acute inflammation, pointing to new therapeutic opportunities in aging-related diseases.
