ARCTiC, together with SFB1177 and Autophagy UK, are the organizers of an international conference that will take place in Holmen Fjordhotell, Oslo, Norway from 25th to 27th of May 2026.
This conference will bring together around 150 participants from across the three networks and will feature:
· A diverse scientific program with lectures and poster sessions
· Opportunities for discussions, networking, and collaboration
· A social program, including a boat trip through the Oslo archipelago

Holmen Fjordhotell is located near Oslo in a stunning seaside setting. The hotel offers beautiful views of the Oslo Fjord, comfortable rooms, and a spa, fitness center, restaurant, and conference facilities.
How to get to Holmen Fjordhotell
The journey from Oslo Gardermoen airport to Holmen Fjordhotell takes approximately 1 hour by public transport.
From Oslo Gardermoen airport, take either the FLY1 Drammen, FLY2 Stabekk, RE10 Drammen, RE11 Skien or R12 Kongsberg train to Lysaker station (leaving every 10 min). From Lysaker station bus terminal, take the 250 bus to the Grønlia bus stop (leaving every 15 min), which is directly outside Holmen Fjordhotell. Alternatively, there is also a taxi stand at Lysaker station (see map), where taxis can drive directly to Holmen Fjordhotell (20-minute journey).
Train tickets for Flytoget (FLY1, FLY2) or Vy (RE10, RE11, R12) can be purchased at the ticket machines at the train station, or via the Flytoget or Ruter apps. For Flytoget (FLY1, FLY2) you can also tap your credit card. Bus tickets can be purchased on board the bus (20 NOK surcharge), or via the Ruter app.
